Alors que signifie cette notion de ch\u00e9motype abbr\u00e9g\u00e9 CT ?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e9finition de ch\u00e9motype<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le ch\u00e9motype <\/strong>ou CT d\u00e9finit l’huile essentielle et permet de distinguer certaines plantes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est le nom de la mol\u00e9cule marqueuse d’une huile essentielle donn\u00e9e. On parle de thym \u00e0 LINALOL ou thym \u00e0 THYMOL. Ce n’est pas forc\u00e9ment la mol\u00e9cule majoritaire, mais c’est le constituant qui influence le plus la composition chimique\u00a0et donne son profil th\u00e9rapeutique particulier \u00e0 l’huile essentielle en question. Il permet d\u2019exprimer la variabilit\u00e9 biochimique des huiles essentielles au sein d\u2019UNE MEME esp\u00e8ce. Au del\u00e0 des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s th\u00e9rapeutiques diff\u00e9rences, le ch\u00e9motype est aussi signe d’indications et de pr\u00e9cautions d\u2019usage tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un thym qui a pouss\u00e9 en Corse ou en Provence, ou encore en pleine versus en montagne ne produira pas la m\u00eame huile essentielle ! Il en est de m\u00eame entre un romarin officinal qui va pousser en Corse et un romarin cultiv\u00e9 en Italie.\u00a0Une m\u00eame esp\u00e8ce de plante peut donner plusieurs huiles essentielles aux propri\u00e9t\u00e9s tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pourquoi une telle variabilit\u00e9? le terroir (composition du sol, plantes voisines), le climat, le stade v\u00e9g\u00e9tatif vont modifier sensiblement le profil de l\u2019huile essentielle produite par la plante ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notion de sous-esp\u00e8ce, de vari\u00e9t\u00e9 ou de cultivar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le ch\u00e9motype est diff\u00e9rent de la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 (ou sous-esp\u00e8ce) ou des cultivars. Cette pr\u00e9cision doit aussi figurer sur votre flacon : origine g\u00e9ographique, sous-esp\u00e8ce ou cultivar utilis\u00e9, plante de culture ou plante sauvage. Une lavande fine sera diff\u00e9rente d’une lavande aspic mais aussi du lavandin (hybride entre deux lavandes).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notion d’huile ch\u00e9motyp\u00e9e ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Il existe des certificats (et non des labels !) garantissant l’analyse du ch\u00e9motype d’une huile essentielle. Il s’agit d’analyses chimiques au minimum l’obtention d’une chromatographie en phase gazeuse (GC-MS). Vous pouvez demander cette analyse au fabriquant, au producteur pour vous assurer de la qualit\u00e9 de l’huile essentielle que vous voulez acheter. Vous pourrez notamment lire sur les \u00e9tiquettes : HEBBD, HECT ou encore QBI et EOBBD. Qu’est-ce que cela signifie ? Vous pouvez simplement lire \u00ab\u00a0huile ch\u00e9motyp\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb c’est suffisant si le fabricant, producteur et vendeur est en mesure de fournir une analyse de ch\u00e9motypage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
